Black women have a superhero complex. Anyone with eyes can see that a lot of men in our community do not value us, so it seems we keep putting ourselves on the forefront advocating for these same men who say why we don’t need protection. Black women if you do nothing else at all; sit in your femininity and let that be it. Learn how to be feminine with every day life. That does not include protesting! leave that to the men. Men of other communities pride themselves on protecting their wives and female counterparts while they do the dirty work. Don’t risk your life for any men that’s not your kin.
