(Woo hoo, world building!) âWhy should we believe you Legion?â Apostle asked, standing with his brother's the Fivefold before Legion in the abandoned warehouse that he frequently stayed in. âCause what purpose would me telling you about a new threat that even I couldnât do anything to do for me? Iâm telling you, the Veterinarian has turned.â âListen Legionâ Prophet shook his head âyou know us, if Vet has turned, that's for the heroes like Hood and Aaron to take care of, we donât normally get involved in matters like thatâ âBut if you idiots do nothing, it will become your problem anyway cause guess what, Hood and Aaron did try, he made them into a monster.â Legionâs expression was one of true fear, his normal cocky arrogance completely wiped away. âEach and everyone of the demons in me fear him, more than they fear you.â The Evangelist looked confused âHow is that possible, demons fear nothing greater than the presence of the Lord.â âYou havenât met me thenâ Vetster called out from down the Warehouse corridor. âHello, I am Vetster, you must be the Fivefold correct?â Pastor gripped his cane tightly, standing between Legion and Vetster. âDid you harm this man here?â âPhysically no. But mentally and emotionally oh yes. â Vetster replied with a chuckle. Pastorâs grip on his staff tightens, his scowl grows. With an angry roar he rushed forward towards Vetster, staff in hand. Vetster smirks, his scythe ready. Pastor swung his cane, Vetster side stepping just in time, swinging his scythe, cleanly slicing off Pastorâs head. âPastor!â Apostle cried out. Vetster grinned. âYou are not Ultra's are you? You are normal human beings given power by an ethereal force.â âIf by ethereal force you mean God then yes, and we are going to sue that force to take you down.â Evangelist remarks through gritted teeth, his fists engulfed in flames. Vetsterâs void grin widens. âCome at me then.â Suddenly, Vetster was sent flying back from impact with a large shield. Standing in the warehouse were Four Angels, a Roman centurion, completely clothed in armor, with sword and full body shield, a holy knight, with shield and sword, a western Sheriff with flowing blonde hair and two golden pistols, and a WWII era US soldier, armed with an automatic rifle and bayonet. Each of their eyes were a piercing white, and their wings large with golden feathers. The Sheriff spun his pistols in his hands, âFivefold, and Legion, yâall should run. Oh and Legionâ The centurion picked up Pastorâs staff and threw it to Legion. âYouâre the new pastor nowâ The sheriff grinned and Legion caught the staff, flabbergasted. Apostle pulled him into the group as they disappeared in a pillar of light. Vetster groaned as he stood to his feet âethereal beings! Wait wait, I know what you are actually called â he chuckled, scratching his scalp âRight! Arch Angels right!â âThat's right sir.â The soldier replied, his rifle pointed directly at Vetsterâs head. âOh ho ho, polite too, this is good, you know I love religious studies. Christianity has always caught my attention. Funny how a religion with supposedly has only one God, has many beings to worship.â âWe are just Angels beast, you do not worship usâ The knight replies charging forward with his sword drawn, side by side with the Roman. Vetster stepped back, dodging the Knights blade, with a flick of his wrist, shadow tendrils shot out of his hands, piercing both their chests. As the two leaned back in surprise, two more tendrils erupt from the ground, piercing their backs. With a grin, Vetster shot out the last two tendrils, piercing their necks. With a twirl he sent them flying, each landing on opposite ends of he corridor. A shot rang out, the bullet piercing Vetsterâs skull. He fell to the floor with a thud, black ooze draining from his mouth and wound. âSometimes I hate living in a world with super beings.â The solider sighed, smoke rising from the barrel of his gun. âDigger can take care of thatâ âI knew weâd be protecting the Fivefold, but not from stuff like that.â The sheriff replied. The solider sighed, and shrugged his shoulders, âlet's just go pick up our brothers and head home.â ⊠âOk so, thisâŠ.thing...is Hood and Aaron?â Stephan stood outside the power voiding containment pod that housed Aroodamate. Curly stood beside him. âYup. Not sure how, are what you can do about it, but here. It's better in your care than out running wild. I fear itâs already killed some people. â âOh boyâ Justin stood behind his computer desk. âThese readings are, worrying to say it lightly.â âWhat do you mean?â Curly asked, his fists still red with fresh blood. âWell you see, it's a widely accepted fact that people are made of atoms. But it's not true. People are made of, well code essentially, intricate details and information pieced together in a mathematical sense and implemented into this world as living beings. Aroodamate here, has a unique code, it's not Hoodâs, or Aaronâs, or a combination. Itâs its own code. Which means we canât split themâ Justin explains, staring into the pod the entire time. âBUT!â Stephan exclaimed from his desk, âit looks like their code isnât properly aligning together. Which explains why it looks so, distorted and why itâs so violent. Itâs unfinished. So where we canât separate them, we might be able to finish fusing them.â Curly raised his eyebrows, âok, science stuff, but I got it. This is no longer Hood and Aaron, it's something new and unique. Ok. Their wives are going to be pissed. â âBoth have in their vows stuff about this kind of thing.â âYouâre joking arenât you?â âYou were at their weddings.â âI was crying during the vows, I didnât listen all the wayâ âCurly, you big softieâ âMy fists arenât softâ âWow, angry dude. But anyway, yah, both had in their vows stuff about this.â âHuh, prepare for anything I guess.â Curly sighed to himself, âI guess iâll go be the message man. Wish me luck boys.â âWeâll call you and let you know of our progress.â âThanks guysâ Curly turned and looked into the pod, Aroodamate aimlessly wandering around in circles, seemingly calm. Curly slowly shook his head, âwhy canât this world be normal?â
