Today has been awesome! I had the day off so I went out blackberrying this morning on my walk, and made a delicious batch of blackberry curd. It's honestly so good and I can't wait for more berries to ripen so I can make more bc I know for a fact that this jar won't last long (giving the small jar to Nanna Mary tomorrow).
Did some lovely yoga this morning too, and when Matthew got home from work we got our shorts on bc it was suddenly really hot, and drove along to the coast. Parked up along the sea front and walked from Cullercoats to Seaton Sluice (Northward up the North East coast). There was a gorgeous breeze and after a while it clouded over which was honestly a relief from the sun, and it was just a really lovely long walk, and the sea was all calm and blue again! The tide was out so we even went over to the little lighthouse on the island and had ice lollies. And I broke my step record which is an added bonus! My previous high was 36,000.
So a day very well spent! I feel super lucky to live so close to such a beautiful coast. Absolutely shattered now though, we got a cheeky Domino's as a treat for dinner bc our branch finally got vegan options and it was deliiiiish 🍕
