Yesterday my stepson broke my laminator and didn't say sorry. This morning he was smiling and laughing that our dog, our very injured dog whom I have spent the past 2 weeks caring for, sleeping next to, hauling back and for from the vet, sedating, etc., didn't want to go to his mat like I commanded. Well guess what you annoying twerp? No shit. No shit does he want to run around when he is feeling a little better because he's hopped up on Tramadol and steroids. No shit does he want to stand by you while you make food for yourself and hope that you drop some. Guess what? I don't fucking care. I told stepson that if the dog starts screaming again (when he tweaks his injuries he will scream for 2-3 minutes straight, shivering and dragging himself around to get away from the pain) it's his fault. Harsh, yes, but also true. I have told them (SS and SD) repeatedly that the dog can't be running around on the kitchen floor and that if he's acting happier it's because of the medication. It isn't cute, it isn't funny. That this is a critical time in his healing because he is going to feel better but if he is active then he will actually make his injuries worse. Stepson doesn't fucking care about anything other than himself sometimes. I know that is the case with most kids his age, but his bullshit attitude makes me want to punch him in the face on a good day let alone when he is encouraging my dog to engage in behavior that will harm him. Oh, and the dog is hurt because stepson put him outside when the gate was open and didn't check on him so he ran off somewhere, got injured, and we don't actually even know what happened so we have spent about $650 on vet bills SO FAR trying to figure it out. No apology there either of course. Stepson was never taught that if you do something, even by accident, you should apologize. Therefore he never apologizes for anything. ππΌππΌππΌππΌππΌππΌππΌππΌππΌππΌππΌππΌππΌππΌππΌ Oh yeah, let's not forget I'm doing all this while 39 weeks pregnant, including cleaning up dog pee from the floor multiple times a day because the dog is too injured to get to the door.
