I’ve been writing The Neither Days by hand to keep myself sane as I prepare to move across the country in a week. Here’s the literal last thing I wrote down last night when I had a scene pop into my head while I was trying to sleep:
“Er... same way I got in, I suppose,” Crowley said with a one-shoulder shrug.
But this is the last line that I wrote for the last full scene I drafted (that is a complete sentence and not an underwriting [to be added] insert):
“I hope you have a pleasant day,” Aziraphale said, and, after a moment’s hesitation, snapped his fingers on the way out.
The doors did not swing open. He frowned and followed Crowley outside.
Hm... what could be wrong here I wonder? What happened to their miracles?
