officially a month into the school season now, and I've been doing my very best to keep doodling away for some content !

a lot of these a VERY messily constructed because I've been mega sleepy getting back into the justafix of being social and active and sleeping at normal hours, but hey. it's still art. :D

starting off strong with some soda outfit fun ; I'm getting into the hang of traditional art again, and doing that usually consists of me fucking around until it feels right. soda has become a victim of that. he's been given a lot of fun outfits, i think :D

sleepy johnny doodles to keep the eepies away. i think i actually drew these BEFORE school started, but, uh. blah. who cares /silly

and then some miscellaneous art. some hippiecola, a bit of estrella randle, and... stevepop :D

like please she’s got to be the cutest thing ever, like just imagine her just exploring her moms room and just testing things on, and he goes to sodapop sometimes for things like old makeup and dresses and all that stuff

sodapop will DEFINITELY take her out shopping for this stuff and help her through it all!!

it’s really deep and like after seeing previous posts about just.. her feeling lost on what a woman is supposed to be like has got me NUTS. and i mean like insane crazy LOCK ME IN AN ASYLUM

no because a few years after her mom left i do see her kind of just waiting until dad wasn’t looking/in the house, and then she’d just play dress up, it feels nice to just let the guard down

no but here’s the thing; i do feel she despises makeup sometimes and will ONLY use it when she feels like it’s needed BUT THATS JUST ME but like at the same time, i can see her kind of just messing with a lipstick thing and testing it, before just going “no, you look naturally nice anyways” as a way to pump herself up and make herself feel GOOD.

but like that’s just me and idek if that made any sense but GRISOAKSKDKRKS TRANSFEM STEVEEEEEE

can i just say that when the gang found out they began to call her “the broad” like no context. just THE broad, and they were super overprotective as always, i just think it’s cute okay leave me alone /silly

pre-transition stellapop owwhhhh :(((

my babiess ... . . if / when you make that comic i will ABSOLUTELY be head in hands sobbing hysterically as i chew on it so lovingly, these two mean so much to me

pre-transition stella is an absolute MESS dawg ; just blatantly discovering who she is makes her feel so gross, she feels so terrible and trapped in her skin, soda is noticing the visible bruises and scratches and the more frequent hangovers in just the first WEEK because he's constantly working fast to figure out what's wrong w her

she's being pulled to the side by soda at a shift at the dx and stella immediately gives soda a harsh glare and "I'm fine, soda." as soda tries to ask her what's wrong, what's happening, why steve's been so distanced — and stella cringes at the name, at her state. she feels so, so awful :(

it takes so much begging and pleading from soda until eventually stella caves, yelling at him "don't fucking call me that." when soda tries to give stella another 'steve,' to soothe her. he's flinching back and looking at her with big, lost brown eyes until he notices the tears streaming down stella's face. the frustration in herself as she tries to keep everything down, but she can't – not with soda, not with the boy she trusts most.

after she tells him everything, soda pulls her carefully and close, tucking her head into his chest and resting his chin on top of her curls, pressing a kiss into her hair and telling her "it's okay. i love you. i just wanna be here for you, you shouldn't destroy yourself over this. you're too beautiful to be looking so beaten."

being called beautiful nearly makes stella fall right apart, she can't believe this stupid blonde loves her so much

But when she started feeling wrong in her skin she tried to deny herself feeling all this and tried to convince herself that she's a boy

Then she talks to Sodapop and he helps her realize that she's trans and helps her transition properly

She's invading my head hits her with a fly swatter/aff

reeling you in like an evil fisher with a tasty worm on a hook randle ...

AWUGHH DUDE, her relationship with her father is already an absolute mess as is. he's an emotionally neglectful parent, he doesn't speak much to her, he passes her off with money after an argument, he doesn't communicate emotions — that's what stella was taught. no emotions. no reaction. just don't even think about it.

when she starts figuring herself out, it's like suddenly she can give herself an excuse to finally feel stuff — boys can't cry, but girls can. but she CAN'T be a girl, because god is that already a hassle enough just not being a boy enough, imagine what people would say?

she would rather do anything else than be emotional around her father, be herself around her father, she doesn't even wanna think on it

so she confides in soda ; she can be emotional with him, she can be herself with him, she can be a GIRL with him.

soda is her escapism, soda is the bottle that collects all of her tears, soda is her safe space

i think without soda, stella wouldn't be able to transition — it's a medium codependency on the people that she feels safest around

AHHHH I FEEL SO BADDDGDHDHDDD ☹️

i was busy with school work and haven’t doodled anything for this blog but that’s okay bc i’ll hand out a few of my silly lil hcs as an apology

stevepop hcs:

honest to goodness, those boys have got to be the stupidest boys EVER. like i can picture in my head their first kiss has got to be the most clumsiest kiss ever, probably chewing on blue and red candies and soda randomly goes “hey, what if we kissed and our tongues turned purple?” steve was startled at first, sure, but eventually the two tried it their tongues were only SLIGHTLY purple and from there they kind of clicked after such an intimate moment 😭💗

it’s stupid and i know but i love them dearly, after that like two weeks later the two go out on this silly date together to a drive in just to bug other couples, shouting at random kids, all just to kiss at the end. they’re adorable and stupid, your honor.

another thing, i have this separate hc that steve has a bunch of chapsticks (though he’s lost half of them) because of how careless he is with drinking water, like that boy has got CHAPPED lips, soda always teases him about it but buys his chapsticks all the time, especially the mint ones another individual hc for steve is that he ADORES mint

stellapop hcs:

okay this one is for stella only because i love her no one can stop me but during her first few months of transitioning and getting the hang of it all, she was really quiet about it, though she did take up stealing a few cute dresses she’d eye and try them out at home, and eventually soda or the other guys would find her stealing a dress and go “who’s that for?” “none of yer business!”

well, eventually, stella would tell soda and soda would be over the moon for her, understanding and supportive of her.

soda is definitely the type to randomly scream “I LOVE MY GIRLFRIEND!!!” and stella slaps him on the arm though she loves the gender affirmation and love she’s getting from the love of her life

soda helps stella with her makeup, because soda’s got surprisingly steady hands, and at the end of it, stella always looks like a pretty good looking gal, and stella gets real giddy because soda just grins “you’ve always been pretty”
