My thing just arrived.
i honestly love the steam controller so much man, it so comfortable, its so fun to customize it and do cool things with it, like making double button macros for when a game wants you to press 2 buttons at the same time constantly, or on screen UI for weapon wheels for games that don't have them, or little menus for things like emulation, and again i can't stress enough that it is SO comfortable to hold. genuine game changer.

BREAKING NEWS: Valve has just unveiled three new pieces of hardware:
The Steam Machine, a PC packed into a compact cube that runs SteamOS and is 6x more powerful than the Steam Deck!
The Steam Frame, a stand-alone VR headset that can be used for both VR and none-VR games!
The Steam Controller, including track pads, motion controls, and easy wireless connection!
All will be coming in early 2026!
The steam frame hasn't even come out yet and I'm already in love with it and the design of the box.
No, Valve did not tease a new Portal game... But Valve did showcase Enigma Protocol to demonstrate the new Steam Machine!
If you were unaware, Linus Tech Tips was given an early look at the new Steam hardware announced by Valve yesterday. At the 10:26 mark, people spotted an at the time unidentified Portal game running on a nearby monitor.
While I am sorry to say that it looks like Valve isn't working on a new Portal project, I am surprised and delighted to know that Valve enjoys my work enough to use it for promotional content. Enigma Protocol came out nearly 5 years ago now, and I never expected it to have the staying power that it has, let alone being (indirectly) featured by Valve themselves!
If you haven't already, please check out Enigma Protocol on the Steam Workshop!
