“Oh, come on, doing bad things here and there isn’t so wrong, alright? You’ll have fun, plus, if you didn’t want to do this then you wouldn’t come along, right?” Felicia said giving the other a smirk. You’ll have the night of your life!”.

“no, no, i’m fine, they just grabbed it from me while i was trying to check out. i barely even saw them.” she explained, more angry than she was scared. she should have been paying attention, should have kept her senses tuned in to her surroundings. “i don’t know i didn’t see them. all i know is they were tall, short buzz cut. i barely had a chance to think let alone notice what they looked like.” stupid, stupid mistakes. things she should have been better at catching when she was a kid, and yet even now as an adult she still wasn’t as well trained as her brothers.

"If you step closer you will join your King." I threatened, startled by my foreign voice. Only one of the few other guards buckled at the sight of Carvarak. The doors burst open and I heard a shriek. Glancing past the guards, I froze.

"Kaylum!" I heard her shriek.

"Lenore, hold on!" I called for her, keeping my eyes on the guards now surrounding me. I wraithed and engulfed a guard who's shriek was drowned out by my flames. I took on my Gaian form again and rushed towards her. Before I could take another step, I was quickly restrained. I yelled out as they forced her to the ground.

"Elanoria!" As I called her name, her blood spilled to the ground. I watched her head hang back by what was left of her throat. Her eyes were dim. I screamed with all of my fury and everything became a blur. When I returned back to reality, I was kneeling beside her, clutching her body and holding her close.

After all these years he failed to protect her.

"Is that really all that makes you happy...?" He mumbled with an undetectable emotion in his voice. I huffed, confused.

"No...?" I sighed, furrowing mt brows.

"I brind out people's fears but my brothers and I share powers, although vaguely and less powerful. You... You're a sad person, Decoda." He said. I furrowed my eyebrows at him.

"W.. what in the Beneath is that supposed to mean?!" I huffed, "Of course I'm sad! You just brought up every single thing I dread and fear in a matter of seconds! Do you not think any of that makes me sad?" I growled, trying harder to get out of his magical grip.

Time crept by too slowly. My thoughs swirled in my mind. I had to do something about Kaylum. He had to pay. And Auntie Abby had just.the thing.

The room lit up as if illuminated by sunlight but no candles or lanterns had been lit. I slid out of the cot and headed to Auntie Abby's potion cabinet. On the lowest row I read a few lables in Infernos. One crammed in the back read "deep pain - possibly lethal." A burning pang shot through my chest again. I was beginning to get sick of that feeling.

Honestly Cleo couldve just manipulated the lad or taken his wallet and ran, but something in her decided not to.

Suprising considering nobody else can recall this new found kindness.

on the bus today i saw a man standing on a bridge blowing bubbles out over the river

getting off the bus the bus driver looked exhausted, but she still smiled at me and told me to have a good day

walking through the park i saw a dad and his kids playing tag, they had the biggest smiles

the park was full of wlw couples, i wonder if they were holding some sort of meeting there

i (accidentally ok!) stole a golf ball from the park. it’s gold. i keep tossing it around feeling like i’m james potter

i ordered what the barista recommended and had the best coffee i’ve ever had

i saw a group of kids wearing class of 21 jackets that had to have graduated in the last week or so, they looked happier and at peace than any high school student i’ve ever seen

in a starbucks i saw a guy flirting with the cute cashier, i wonder if he asked him out

i saw a baby on the bus home and she kept looking up at me confused, and then shoving her head into her dads chest, how to express that i’m just wearing eyeliner and don’t actually look like a raccoon

mall imagines mall imagines! so! first off: copy has not been to many malls before. they're a nuisance, and malls are a little bit too big to be a proper nuisance.

going to a mall with them involves a lot of copy going "whats this" "whats that" "whats this" because they normally live in time's leaf so they aren't all up-to-date

it can be a lot of fun, though! copy doesn't have. y'know. money, but they can shapeshift to look like they have the outfits on them instead.

they also have an... interesting fashion sense, so expect them to try to get you to put on all sorts of clothes.

i think they'd have the most fun if it was around hallow's eve, though- copy pushing you to try on all SORTS of hallow's eve costumes, and pointing out how unrealistic some of the props are. (they don't realize that's the point.)

however, inevitably, copy tries to steal something. they're a demon and a cat, after all, and what's yours is theirs and what's not theirs is also theirs- so they get kicked out.
