A tasty and filling salad with soft steak slices, smooth blue cheese, and a sour balsamic vinaigrette. Just right for a filling meal.
Ingredients: 8 oz 225g sirloin steak. Salt and pepper to taste. 2 cups mixed greens e.g., arugula, spinach, and romaine. 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved. 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced. 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese. 1/4 cup toasted walnuts. 2 tablespoons balsamic vinaigrette dressing.
Instructions: Add salt and pepper to the steak. Set a grill or skillet over high heat and cook the steak for three to four minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until it's done the way you like it. Once the steak is done, take it off the heat and let it rest for a few minutes. Then, cut it into thin slices. Mix the mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, red onion, blue cheese, and toasted walnuts together in a large bowl. Place the steak slices on top of the salad. Spread the balsamic vinaigrette dressing on top of the salad. To mix, toss everything together. Blue Cheese Steak Salad is ready to eat right away.
