If you’re being treated for chlamydia, it’s best to avoid sex until 7 days after finishing your medicine. This gives your body time to clear up the infection completely to make sure it doesn’t get passed on to anyone.

If you’ve been having sex with the same person for a while, it’s a good idea for them to get tested for chlamydia, too, and for you both to wait until you’re done with your antibiotics before having sex again. Otherwise, you could keep passing it back and forth.

Antibiotics are really good at kicking chlamydia’s you-know-what, but it’s still a good idea to get tested again in a few months to make sure your chlamydia is gone.

AIDS has been an ever growing threat the black community. Once thought of as a gay or drug needle disease, more African Americans are now contracting the HIV virus by heterosexual contact than ever before.   Most of the press has focused on the “down-low” culture as the blame for this. This refers to Black men who live straight lives with a wife and kids but secretly has sex with other men. Although this may be a contributing factor, it is only a small part of the cause.

Unprotected heterosexual sex is still rampant in our community. This is not only true for young teens but is still a factor with older generations. The low marriage rates means there are more black singles of all ages that have multiple sex partners. Even if it is only 3 partners in as many years this could add up to 15-30+ partners in a life time.

[ Hook-Up Culture (HUC)!!!! No surprise that the fewer the sex partners, the lowered likelihood of getting HIV or other STD's. There is only one other community that has more sexual contacts in their lifetime and that is the Gay Community. Hook-Up Culture in that community is on steroids. Even married gays engage in sex with outside partners, which in my opinion, makes a mockery of marriage. This is coming to you from an atheist, mind you.]

Also because of the surge of Black inmates in the prison system during the 90s, many Black men who were imprisoned have been released in the largest numbers ever over the past 10 years. Many of these men who may have practiced homo-sexuality while in the system returned to heterosexual lifestyles once released.

[Boom! In prison they had sex with other men, but resumed heterosexual lifestyles when they were released from prison. These are the thugs that you are meeting for clandestine activities, ladies!]

Until blacks stop this madness, no one will every take you seriously, as a whole. Can't blame whitey for killing you when you don't even value your own lives.
