“Sky Captain, I like that. Everything looks good on me,” he said, narrowing his eyes and licking his teeth behind his lips. No smile or smirk for this son of a fucking bitch. “Trust me, I know. As for Spock.” He paced toward the dark-eyed monster and grabbed his tie, twisting it around his fist. “I think it’s time you told me where he is. Don’t you?”

Such aggression. With a tug of the other loose tail of fabric, the necktie loosens, freeing the good doctor from Jim's vice-like grip with a precautionary step backward. "Actually...this is why I advised you to rest. Obviously you're not thinking clearly." As he speaks, articles of clothing are slowly shed—first his eyeglasses, suit jacket, and the white button-down—revealing his doppelganger's Academy uniform to Jim's eyes. "I mean, if you recall..."

"...I did not leave...Captain."

Western AU - I can't imagine Wilson would be much of anything out in the west. Maybe he could be one of those sad traveling dentists trying to convince people that brushing isn't the devil. :D

Mermaid AU - Marine biologist instead of biochemist! Curious to explore life deeper down in the ocean. Study study study!

Star Trek AU - Blue shirt! Probably one of the physicists, helps repair the warp field and stuff.

1950s AU - Not too different from the 20s I think...a little bit more understanding, but he'd be the same old looser holed up in a cabin trying to explain the unexplained. 

Killer AU - He would be a very methodical killer, planning down every detail and carrying it out with perfection. He's already a "Counter and arranger" so the act of preparation and execution would be imperative to satisfy the original impulse. If he didn't exact it just right, he wouldn't feel satisfied, and would have to kill again.
