There is weariness in the cast of Darth Revan’s shoulders. Reaching up, the mask is removed so a gloved hand can scrub at her eyes. She’ll never admit it, but tears are beginning to gather at the edges.
The night is cool in the Valley of Tombs, but it’s comforting and welcome. Even several years after Malak’s defeat, her heart still aches, though she’ll never show it. It’s a weakness, and she knows well how weaknesses are treated among the Sith.
It’s not hard to recognize Bastila’s signature in the Force. Revan feels far too tired and makes no effort to straighten herself up. When she finally speaks, however, it is with her usual almost dismissive and thoroughly unimpressed tone. “Oh, how wonderful, you found me! I did wonder how long it would take.”
