Well, it seems a little strange to write this again. 5 years on, in lockdown.
My goal when starting this blog up had been to chart my running journey, which, to be fair, has been incredible. The last post here was before I ran the Boston Marathon. Which I did in 2015.
I’ve also completed numerous ultra-marathons including the iconic UTMB in 2017, which I followed up with OCC in 2019.
I’ve also lived in Hong Kong. Returned to the UK. Got married. Had two wonderful kids. I now live outside of London in the Chilterns, surrounded by beautiful running country. So, what now?
I’m a 40-something runner, who still thinks the next great run is ahead of him. Like a gambler, I keep chasing the next race. But looking back, it’s been pretty exceptional and I’ve been blessed to have such experiences.
So, let’s look at this as the next chapter of my life, the next miles of my running journey. Who knows what they will bring?
