Battle.Net's security flaws
Blizzard's Battle.net security is fucking atrocious. Glad I don't have anything of any value tied to that account.
Received an e-mail this morning saying that someone was trying to change the log-in e-mail for my account, and once it was verified, it would be changed. So someone from another e-mail address can change my account?
Then to try to contact customer support to get my account, I can:
1) Answer a security question I created 3 years ago
orÂ
2) Insert a CD key for a blizzard game (which, mind you, I can only see if I HAD THE ACCOUNT because the games are digital, and therefore only seen when I actually log into my Battle.net account.
And I would imagine it would pretty easy for them to avoid this:
When someone tries to change the username/email on an account, why not send a confirmation to the -original email- confirming this?
Otherwise, you only need to know my email address to change my account!
Oh well, I didn't really like StartCraft 2 or Diablo III much anyway.
