Becoming Animagi added a few new quirks to James and Sirius’ relationship, with their animal forms carrying certain instincts and behaviors into their daily lives. James is hyper-aware of Sirius’ eyes on him and his usual love of attention becomes a pursuit kink; he consciously or otherwise turns into a grade-A tease, flashing his abs in a crop top or talking to someone he *knows* Sirius doesn’t like, or eating something inappropriately phallic in an unnecessarily obscene way until Sirius *has* to drag him behind a closed door or crowd him against the wall. Sirius gains an even more overwhelming tendency to let everyone know James is his, draping himself over James in public and leaving teeth-marks in conspicuous places. Granted, scent-marking doesn’t work quite the same way with humans as it does with animals, but come-marking makes a nice replacement.
