So I must first start off with this, because it can get confusing fast. So with the relation to TOH, instead of seasons this story is split into "books", but they don't really line up with each other; so here's a rough translation

season 1 + 2a = pre book 1

season 2b = book 1

kings tide = either final act of book 1 or a book 1.5 (it will depend on how long the plot takes to play out *crying*)

season 3 = book 2

"timeskip" era (s4) = book 3 (aka the gargoyle titan arc)

and that was all i originally had planned, but i've been thinking about adding on a bonus book about the collector and tying up their plot, so that = book 4

Storyline!!

(bonus pre story bc i just have to talk abt it)

Eda found Ashton (king), she takes him in, and is actually kinda a mother, although a really neglectful one. She had been in and out of prison, and since nobody knew about her "son", he was left to fend for himself in the owl house (this will be important later). Eda in time stops that shit, and takes in an apprentice (my best comparison for the culture is like a better version of how knights were shipped off to be trained as a child), who is named luz. Everything is about the same for them.

However, titans are far from dead, on the other side of the globe the titan v archivist conflict was not only ramping, it was spreading. People on the isles were now hearing the news from their allies. Some go out to see it for themselves, some even televise it on their crystal balls. No matter how, people now know that their gods are not only alive, but around the world. One even living on their island.

book 1

yeah that little boy got kidnapped by a cult. Now titan worship had always been around, but Belos diverged a more violent sector, and the state church got ahold of Ash. Belos was of course notified, he had been stirring up a lot of tension on the isles, and now he was playing the long game. He knew he needed someone with the knowledge and power to make a portal, and he also needed a depleted resource to fuel it.

This is where Collie comes in, they're an angle, they have the power to bend reality to their will, (Belos is also hardcore christan, and he kinda worships the collector, but he thinks that god has appointed him to guide the collector on the right path as a test of faith, and so acts like a father to them in his twisted way). Collie wants the titan, below thinks that he's the devil. Solution? Lie to the child to get what you need, and then let your allies (a cult of genocidal fuckers) sacrfice the furry child!

Anyways he has to play it slowly, so he keeps Ashton at a local church for a bit and slowly moves him to more powerful churches until he's at the heart of the titan. (i dont really wanna get into this because im in a good mood but) hes neglected, indoctrinated, starved.

So why does he have bones growing out of his body? Idk if i've brought this up, but this aus version of the "rage form" is this stress activated state, where the body will grow fake bones, spikes, sometimes scale like structures, etc. Their magic grows stronger, and this can often lead to a whole number of blood related issues (and often they develop blood shot eyes due to enlarged blood flow to the head). It's not uncommon for their mental state to severely deteriorate, since they are under extreme stress, and are much more likely to be severely dehydrated and malnourished) This takes months to develop, and usually a titan will not survive since they require much more resources, even if they initially survive this leaves severe impacts on their body's health, they usually will die a few months to a year later due to these complications.

Ashton developed this, and he started growing stuff. The church, not knowing shit about actual titans, thought he was sick, and would cut these off, and ended up taking samples from his skull to try and "test" or something (idk im just yapping atp) In turn, this made him worse.

book 2

Below in the middle of this plan sends hunters to monitor the progress made. Hunter goes in believing that titans are demonic entities, full of violence and greed, but after some time observing the titan, he starts to question the validity of his belief. They bond, yada yada. Anyways, Ash gets moved to the heart, and Belos meets him, and he and Collie have little playdates (because my boy needs some fluff run). Yay! Pbones!!!!!

Hunter brings up his new concerns with Belos, yeah, bad stuff happens to Hunter. The Collector, has to overhear this (this happens around the room his tablet is kept in, and since he cant move he just has to sit there and pretend like theres nothing horrible happing maybe even within sight)

And since they're DEFINITELY not as innocent as cannon collectors (they understand death a little too well for a 10 yr old, they just dont care because the archivists are a supremacist cult), decided that Belos is actually evil and decides he must die.

however one little problem, they have no body. They have a titan just within reach, if only. Yeah so they let Ashton get traded to the trappers, and he gets killed, and since they're an angel, they intercept Ashton's spirit, and make a deal with him; "Free me, and I will kill belos" so yeah, deal!

Collie is freed, he kills below, and he picks up Ashton's *still dead* body, however, there are trappers and mediums for both of the kids all over the isles, the entire kingdom has been in ruins since the start of all this. They have nowhere to go, they will be found and killed no matter where they are.

Kings tide ash, 9yrs

They find a secluded cave on the knee, and Collie nurses Ashton back into life, and takes care of him while he heals. (oh yeah i did not mention this but kings tide takes place in fall, and book 2 takes place in winter), the outfit is A to keep Ash warm because they now live in a cave in a mountain during the middle of winter, B its a symbol of them growing close to eachother and relying on eachother.

The collector is not the best at surviving on his own, so when Ash is healed enough, he takes over most of the finding food and shelter part. He teaches Collie how to be small and hide from others when scavenging for food. uhm yeah so anyways since they're still kids they also like to play in the abandoned towns, and this leads to a plot point I won't explain because this post is already too long.

ashton 12/13 yrs

Book 3

ngl this is originally from a whole other au, and im still trying to figure out how to adapt it to titans claws, but basically at the end of the last book, luz finds Ash, and they are all reunited at the owlhouse (where the hexsquad also now live), and they find a titan palisman, and in time it leads them to an archive where there are titan stuff, and a preserved titan. King undos the preservation, and now there is a random titan in the mix, chaos ensues. King spends most of the book bonding with this new titan (ire), and learning about titans. idk how but i am determined to kill off ire by the end of the book, it has always been in the palm. This titan is DOOMED

and since i havent even gotten to book 3, and also book 4 is about collie, i dont really feel like elaborating on book 4.
