The idea with him is that he's one of the many demented denizens of a far more horrific and twisted version of the Demon Realm, who takes the form of a freaky gangly puppet, living in some sort of huge eerie play area absolutely jam packed with monstrous toys, all overseen by The Collector.

His face is made up of 3 mask-like expressions that he can swivel around depending on his mood (based on one of those toys with the changing expressions when you press a button on them. Think like the Mayor from Nightmare Before Christmas). From top to bottom, there's 'neutral', 'playful', and sad (though that final face is also used often to mock 'sore losers' when he beats them during his games)

He's very loose and floppy, his head often drooping to one side or the other, his long-sleeved arms flopping about limply as he skips around gleefully. His strings are retractable and used to carry him across ceilings at frightening speed, though he's just as likely to get down on all fours and scamper after you like a giant spider.

Those poor souls who wander into his domain, if they survive the feral living toys and other dangers, will very likely be challenged to games by The Collector. Games that are very much rigged against his new playmates. If they lose, or Titan forbid they don't play along at all, which is most often, they will be forcibly turned into puppete, hung up alongside the rest of his countless victims, totally motionless save for their eyes darting around, barely audible muffled screams of a hundred trapped souls creating an eerie drone over the area.
