✨ - What do you wish people would understand better about asexuality? 

That asexuality doesn’t mean “never having sex” or that all asexuals are precious virgins who will be ruined if they even once think about sex. It’s not uncommon to hear that asexuals can be sex-repulsed, but it’s less known that there are sex-positive asexuals out there. You can have sex without needing to feel sexually attracted to a person. And that’s the thing, I wish ppl understood that asexuality is the lack of sexual attraction, not “being a virgin.” Also, ppl who choose to stay as virgins for whatever reason are called celibates, not asexuals

🌈- I grew up in Key West and was just... around Pride stuff a lot. And then I moved to Boston and went to Pride once there and was like ‘this sucks you guys are weak’ bc you’ve never been to Pride if you ain’t been to Key West Pride. That shit. Is. Wild.
