In my head canon version of the au, these are the other characters' thoughts/opinions of Julianne and Walden's relationship.

Barnaby: He's a good friend of Walden's, and is a father figure in his life (even though Walden wouldn't admit it out loud). He somewhat understood the troubles and struggles that Walden has faced for a long time. Having the Darling name was always a heavy burden that Walden carried. However, when Julianne came into Walden's life, he knew that something has changed. It started off small, and many people would overlook, but Barnaby didn't. Despite the flash of annoyance that would come across Walden's face, he noticed the bit of softness in Walden's features. The way the crease in his eyebrows would ease, how he would quietly help Julianne in small ways despite his tone sounding harsh when giving her instructions during experiments. It was bound to be, a tale as old as time.

Howdy: When it came to the business aspect of Walden's life, Howdy is his right hand man. They aren't that close, but there is a mutual understanding and respect between them. When Julianne came into the picture, Howdy was surprised given that Walden seemed like a man who didn't seem interested n romance and followed his old man's orders. He thought Walden would probably marry one of the rich gals that usually attends the parties that Wallace likes to throw. However, he could see why Walden fell for Julianne.

Frank: Apprehensive at first. Julianne is his best friend and is like a sister to him, his chosen family. She was there for him when he finally came out and eventually got married to his high school sweetheart, Eddie Dear, during their time in university together. She is important to him and was fully aware her life wouldn't be easy if she were to be with Walden. However, seeing how happy she is...how much she bloomed even more...that's all Frank could ask for, especially knowing what's happened to her.

Eddie: Very supportive of their relationship. Like Barnaby, he saw the spark the two of them have. He's a hopeless romantic and thinks they are adorable (Especially since he accidentally witnessed an intimate moment between them. Witnessing how Walden fell apart and held onto her for dear life while burying his face in her chest and Julianne combing her fingers through his hair while holding him back. They were each other's safe space.).

Sally: Met the couple after Julianne came to work in the bakery after the incident (this was before Ophelia came into their lives, something happened.) Sally was confused at first given how different they seem. Walden looked out of place when he came to pick Julianne up, seemed to be cold and distant. (But that's because Walden is a bit socially awkward adn shy when it comes to his wife in front of others. He does try his best though.) It wasn't until some time that she understood, especially since Howdy (who she met during her friendship with Julianne) and her began dating. (Remember, in Dodo's version of the au, Sally is biromantic and Howdy is omnisexual. I did adjust their ages, as well as adjusted Howdy's design to fit both Dodo's and Clown's. Poppy: Supportive of the relationship, especialy when Walden came to talk to Poppy about taking care of Julianne when she began working at the bakery. Not going into detail as to what happened, since it's entirely up to Julianne for whether or not she would like to share with Poppy those details (wanting to respect her privacy). Just wanting to ensure her saferty and giving Poppy his personal number in case something were to happen to Julianne.

Wallace: ...

Mordecai: ...

Franny: Doesn't like Walden at all and only tolerates him for Julianne's sake. She believes he's trouble and is afraid Julianne would get hurt because of him. Due to their social statuses and Walden having previously been Julianne's boss. Franny is protective of Julianne and feels guilty about failing to protect her from what happened.

Jonesy & Bea: Both want Julianne to be happy, if being with Walden is what makes her happy, then by all means let them be together. They are just hoping that it could help bridge the gap in their relationship. Because of what happened in their childhood, the relationship between the family members is slightly estranged.
