He leaned in close and glared at her. ❝ You remember what I told you, daughter? Nothing here belongs to you. And as long as you behave this way nothing will ever belong to you. I told you what would happen if you would ride off one more time. Now you have to face the consequences of your actions. ❞
And with these words he turned around and did what he came for and had gathered the staff and his daughter, to watch the death of her horse.
She wasn’t allowed to stay after it was done, but the arm of a guard slung around her waist and pulled her against her will back to her room and no fighting she would muster up could help her.
