“Jaaaaaaaade!”
He'd heard his name shrieked in distress too many times to count- growing up with Saphir will do that to a man- and now that Peony's gone and named one of his rappiglets after him, Jade wasn't unused to hearing young women call his name in the palace when the little footstool got loose. It was, however, unusual to walk into Grand Chokmah's palace at two in the afternoon and hear a child of all things wailing his name.
“Where's Jade?! What did you do with my Jade?”
Curiosity piqued, Jade followed the sound of the shrieks- his meeting with the prince could wait.
He ended up in the young princess'- his niece's- rooms. The little girl was flocked by maids, her face red and tear-stained. The little girl was dressed for a nap, but it was clear that she wasn't going down without a fight.
“Princess Natalia, please,” one of the maids pleaded, “Jade's in the wash right now- so he'll be nice and clean by bedtime.”
“I want Jade!” the princess demanded.
Raising an eyebrow, the man himself turned to one of the maids on the fringes of the group. When she realized who she was standing next to, the maid quickly bowed and explained just loud enough to be heard over Natalia's cries.
“Her stuffed rabbit- she's had it since she was a baby, and now she won't sleep without it.”
Since she was a baby...? Ah. Jade hadn't realized that his half-hearted gift had made that much of an impression. Striding into the fray, he scooped up the little girl. The sudden change seemed to have shocked her out of her tantrum.
“There. You were giving us all quite a headache.”
Natalia sniffled, rubbing her streaming eyes and blinking at him.
“...you're Papa's friend, Jade.”
“Correct.”
“You gave me my Jade when I was a baby.”
“Yes, that's right,” Jade said, not sure where this conversation was going.
Chubby little arms tightened around his neck, and the little princess laid her head on his shoulder. Before long, her breathing had evened out. All the maids breathed a sigh of relief upon seeing that their charge had finally fallen asleep. Jade shifted his weight- he'd only picked the child up to make her stop crying, and now he was stuck with her.
Well, it seemed like the little princess was coming with him to his meeting.
Hopping Around
“I hope everybody has had a very fun Easter!”
[Said Brenda, dressed up in a ridiculous easter bunny suit.]
“Now, I’ll enjoy this egg that kind person gave me...!”
[She began to peel the easter egg-- But wait. It smelled like... like... detergent?!]
Interstellar Idols
@starishgemini
He’d decided that now that it was possible, interplanetary, interstellar, and intergalactic travel vacations were the best plan. He’d met some visitors from this little blue and green marble, so he figured he ought to visit them back.
Problem: Where in the name of Monah even was he? Big city that stunk, that’s all he knew, and since face masks seem to be the fashion, he’s gotten one with a filter on. Problem being that they didn’t take Dima, so the currency conversion was an absolute pain.
Where to start...

[A new place… Natsuki has seen his fair share of whimsical places, but this…?] “Where…?”
[He was about to step forward, only to be caught off guard by a voice. Immediately, his eyes shot up and he saw… someone above him! They weren’t falling, but they weren’t exactly struggling with their situation either. What the heck were they doing exactly?]
[… and then they spoke. Natsuki was fascinated.] “You… you’re upside down!” [He sounded easily amused, smiling brightly. This was enough to get his attention off the area surrounding him.]
The reaction made Moonjumper grin, mismatched eyes glowing softly as he twisted himself right-side up. No fear? How curious - granted, the man really hadn’t had any reason to be scared, but still. Did this person normally see strange things, then?
“When I want to be~! I don’t have legs, so floating is all I do have. I’d say you should try it too, but I don’t think you can.” Maybe he had magic, maybe not, but Moonjumper didn’t feel like this one was magical. It would be nice to be surprised though. “You don’t look like you’re from here - are you lost? Unless I’m lost. I don’t think I’m anywhere I’ve never been before. Subcon forest is the last place you should wander.”

(( //gently pats/ I'm actually struggling with something similar to this in another rp community outside of tumblr. Wish I knew how to help, but this is the best that I can do. Don't worry about the haters; do what makes you and you alone happy. Others will love what you do, so who cares what those judgmental people will say and do? They don't know you as much as you know yourself. Keep doing what you love doing, friend. Don't let judgmental people tell you otherwise ))
do you know what hurts me the most? they are people that are forming themsellves to be psychologist, they better than anyone know how much simple word can hurt and still, they are the most judgemental people i have ever met in my whole life! and it pains me, it pains me a lot because how are they going to becomeprofessionals if they judge the next person to them? we are taught not to judge in our first and second year, we are taught not to judge the entire major but they do, and they are hurtful, they are horrible. i thought that i finally found a place in which i was going to be away of this kind of people, but it disappoints me to know that in fact i’m surrounded by all of them
"Oh fuck, that's tight..."
[Brenda laughed. She was red in the face, but despite all that, she was proud of just how much she had just danced right now.]
“See? I’ve still got it! I can out-dance you anytime!”
"Future" (( //poses/ FUCK ME UP, SCOTTY ))
If there was one thing their children had picked up almost as soon as they could babble, it was music. They’d coo in tunes and plick and pluck at strings, trying to make them sing.
The first person to notice it, was Natsuki. He had been carrying one of the twins that couldn’t quite fall asleep. He tried singing, and was quite surprised when the baby giggled and tried to imitate his vocalizations . In fact– it was so cute, everybody pretty much woke up thanks to Natsuki’s excited mannerisms.
However, when it came to deciding whether to start a formal education with music– he didn’t seem to be pleased. Learning music, for some reason, had a bitter note to him that laid somewhere he couldn’t reach.
So a plan was made. Brenda wrote a note, telling him to come over to one of the drawing rooms. When he appeared, music began to play from behind a curtain. Before he could reach it, she pulled him in to a dance. It was lively, and happy– and unlike anything he had heard before. The dance ended, and, she clapped at the curtain from where the music had come from.
And the two children came out, looking quite pleased with their performance.
