Lady Evelyn, adopted daughter of disgraced house Ingellvar. Her financially-ailing house was wiped out in a war five summers before, leaving both herself and Franny without male representation, and on the brink of destitution.

She gives Ser Emmrich her favor during a tournament, since he’s always left out and she thinks he’s hella cute. She has humored his long walks, ball invitations, and love letters as mere flattery mixed with friendship. He is a serial bachelor and must have no serious interest in marriage.When he wins the joust he finds her in the crowd and brings it to his lips in a kiss.

When another civil war with the restless undead brings danger to Nevarra city’s doorstep, all the houses are called to send aid. So Evie sees no other option but to don battle mage armor upon her soft maiden skin and report for duty.
