We are back again ! Here is Sua, a 24 year old Idol, Model, and former actor, she a lead vocalist and composer for her girl group under 4NKT Garden Entertainment, called star☆dolls.
Star☆dolls is a girl-crush group consisting of four girls, Mizi, Sua, Hyuna and Miwa. The name comes from their first concept album with the idea of dolls descending from the cosmos to be idols down here on earth. While exploring different concepts nowadays, they still keep the general cosmos and sweet pop theme with their music, occassionally having more rock-ish pop songs when Hyunas the lead, they often rotate with the lead for different songs to keep things new and fun.
Sua, despite being the youngest in her family, and the youngest of the group, (just a few months younger than Mizi,) ended up in the big sis role for the group. Between her sweet and gentle vocals, and her need to make sure everyone is taking care of themselves as seen by fans during live shows, streams, and fangreets, she accidently adopted the title of the groups big sister, showing a type of affection for her group that maybe she even longed for in her childhood.
Sua and Mizi have been friends since they were kids, meeting right before grade school at a local park. Sua is the youngest girl of 7 other sisters, and is the most doted on by her overbearing mother. She definetly embodies the momager role, all of her kids being her little toys to dress up and put up for modelling and acting gigs since a very young age. Sometimes it feels more like she’s a commodity than a daughter, especially since her mothers love often feels like a competition the others have to strive and fight for. This made her an easy target for all of her sisters, who would often bully her and beat her up, severely stunting her social development at this time.
She actually met Mizi as she was playing at the same park while Sua’s mother was not paying attention and chatting on the phone, probably too busy with work things , and saw Sua getting shoved around by two other girls she later learned were her sisters. Mizi intervened, completely ignoring the two girls and standing as a barrier, reaching her had out to Sua to introduce herself and help her up off the ground.
The two quickly became close from there, engrossed in the other and constantly wanting to see each other. They would meet often at the park, or as often as Sua could, as she was often busy for weeks on end with all the things her morher had her doing. It was easier for them to meet later as they were in the same school together since grade school, growing even closer from there, though there were often still stints with Sua being away.
Sua met Ivan and Till later on in middle school, quickly coming to dislike Till first as he was so blantant over his crush on Mizi, even following her around. She found it creepy and multiple times would scold him openly about it. She found it even weirder noticing Ivan, as just the weird gguy who followed Till around like a lost puppy for their first few years of meeting. While Sua wanted nothing to do with either of them, Ivan found his footing later and quickly made friends with Mizi, basically inserting himself forcefully into Sua’s life as well by extension. It truly annoyed her, especially since the guy had NO PERSONAL SPACE BUBBLE WITH ANYONE!! she would write in one of her ranting diarys as she was not very good at expressing herself verbally still. She claims to have never warmed up to the guy, Ivan in particular, but nowadays she doesn’t seem to flinch at his overbearing presense just kind of dealing with it. She never liked Till though, she would tell Mizi, seeing him as a rival for Mizis love and attention. Mizi found that confusing as she never even considered that Till had a crush on her, making Sua realize how dense this girl could really be, or maybe it was just her playing pretend she didn’t notice, it was hard to tell sometimes with her wide plastered smile and beautiful shiny eyes that would distract her from thinking too deeply about it. While Sua presented like Till was just a nuisance, and scold him like a child when he was being what she perceived as creepy towards Mizi, she also did defend him a few times in High School when he was getting bullied for his alternative style their first year, but still not acknowledging Till despite it, by walking off before Till could even say anything to her. She was not the type to really show how she cared outwardly for her growing circle of friends, not having the social ability or words for it, but did show it in those quiet moments of solidarity.
Sua wasn’t interested in music at first, not until she was alone in a classroom one evening in high school, practicing her piano as her mother advised to keep her skills up, since she had a recital coming up. Before she knew it, Mizi walked into the room quietly and starting singing along to the song she was currently on, catching her off guard at first. She did not stop though, continuing to play the song while her heart pounded in her ears from the sweet tone from Mizi truly sending rush down her spine.
From there she was utterly enamored and starting learning more songs just to hear Mizi sing, the two even bonding over duets and covers, and eventually, starting to make their own silly songs for fun. They started posting online pretty early, while not super well known, developing their own small fanbase during their high school years. Mizi was scouted as a model from the new recognition, thriving in being able to now join Sua during shoots, and connecting more. The next logical step was doing idol work, Suas idea, mostly because she think Mizi would be a true icon as one.
With help from Sua’s overbearing mother and their online recognition, the two got signed with 4NKT and were then scouted into a group with two other trainees in the agency, Hyuna and Miwa.
Star☆dolls was a thriving group for 3 years before one of the main members retired early due to personal issues they claim and a neatly concealed controversy, the newest member Hana, later joining to replace the retired idol. Stay tuned to find out who retired, and get to learn why!
Sua and Mizi currently live together in an apartment in the city, having both moved out together shortly after their debut to be closer to the agency. While they are both fully in acknowledgement for the others feelings, they are currently in a grey area where they stand relationship wise. From complications between personal issues, contract reasons (4NKT has a strict no dating policy) living together still, and other conflicts raised in their professional lives, they are most neatly described in the facebook relationship status of ‘it’s complicated’ for sure.
(as a lesbian who loves lesbians stereotypes, i do apologize for this inclusion but i swear its for a reason and important to the overall plot and im excited to write it out. messy lesbians are my fave lol, especially after context from karma. and as always, if you see parallels with other aus, i have inspo but they are NOT connected to any other AU, and this is an alternate life that is tangentially connected to canon Alien Stage which was their past life, which will affect their relationships and how they interact greately)
