Tactical Studies Rules listed their products for 1974 on the inside back cover of the Star Probe rulebook, beneath the Gygax & Kaye initial logo. At this time the company operated out of Don Kaye's basement. Kaye may have been the one to update the price of the dice set from $1.75 to 2.50 by hand.
Cavaliers & Roundheads was Tactical Studies Rules' first publication, a single booklet that was supposed to help raise the funds needed to publish the 3-volume boxed Dungeons & Dragons set. Warriors of Mars was unauthorized and was discontinued by order of the Burroughs estate. The "Coming Soon" games would be released in 1975. The company distributed its games through several miniatures manufacturers, so the inclusion of Scruby figures in this list must be part of a reciprocal marketing deal.

Star Probe: The Game of Adventure, Conflict and Exploration in Space, by John M Snider, illustrated by Paul G Snider, Tactical Studies Rules, 1974. Star Probe is a board game in which one or more players explore a large map sheet with over 2000 star systems depicted as simple numbered dots in a grid of staggered squares.
In 1974 Tactical Studies Rules used a logo with the initials of founders Gary Gygax and Don Kaye. The company was reincorporated as TSR after Kaye's death in 1975.
