Player (pictured left), 10th president of Bennett, was hardly seen without her glasses. Long before becoming the first female president of the college, she's pictured here assisting a student with registration. Dr. Player was first hired as a Latin and French professor before she became the director of religious activities. She left to study abroad and quickly returned to serve as director of admissions and acting dean. After receiving her doctorate, she was later appointed to coordinator of instruction.
