Lord, I’m praying today for Your comfort in the lives of those who need it most. You know the circumstances we all face, and you understand our hurts and our need for peace and comfort. Thank you for being our Blessed Comforter and our Peace. Touch those who are facing unbelievable challenges right now. Ease the burdens of those whose arms are sagging beneath the weight of heavy loads. Breathe new life into discouraged spirits with your precious Holy Spirit’s comfort. Let each person feel Your presence in amazing ways. Assure them you are walking with them through the fires, through the floods, through the sicknesses, and the unspeakable losses in their lives. Help them to know they are not alone as they grieve their losses, both big and small ones.
