I send this before, but might have gotten lost since it was around the time you said asks were being eaten. In stanbud au, I think dipper and Gideon would totally team up in trying to destroy the relationship. Dipper would eventually give in when he realizes it makes Stan really happy (if it's the marrying for tax purposes version, he doesn't realize he's happy bc of money). Meanwhile Gideon would have to be ducktaped during the wedding
Dipper and Mabel both are probably opposed to it at the outset. Dipper and Mabel assume Gideon's mind controlling Stan—if there's a marriage the Gleefuls have a legal right to the shack!—and Gideon assumes Stan is blackmailing Bud or conning him or something. They're mutually surprised to find neither side knows what's going on. I feel like Mabel would accept it first and talk Dipper into going along.
Either Gideon's taped up or Bud goes "But son, I was so hoping you'd be our little ring bearer 🥺" and guilts him into going along with it. Gideon and Stan are glaring at each other and muttering threats under their breath the whole ceremony. Gideon tries to "accidentally" lose the rings walking up the aisle. There MIGHT be a dragon interrupting the ceremony that Gideon MIGHT have had something to do with. He finally grudgingly accepts the wedding because the dragon got out of control, as dragons are wont to do, and Stan saved everyone, including Gideon's dad. But he's still not gonna like it!!!
post-canon bud and stan catching up.. like, after stan n ford get back from the boat thing.... they lowkey chill now, idk if they'd have any businesses to rival over anymore?? mystery shack is under new management, tent of telepathy prob closed after the events of gideon rises? maybe?, and gleeful auto sales prob gets sued at some point..
a lil bonus one too, as a treat (you can tell this is an idea that ill be thinkin abt for a long while.....)
