The PB&J Theory:

Think of being gay as a peanut butter sandwich, being straight as a jelly sandwich, and bi as a peanut butter AND jelly sandwich.

Each are equally separate and good sandwiches. And while the peanut butter and jelly sandwich has components of both sandwiches, it in itself is an enirely different sandwich than only peanut butter or only jelly. It isn’t one whole peanut butter sandwich and one whole jelly sandwich stacked on top of each other but a marriage of the two. And even if you pull the two pieces of bread apart there will always be peanut Butter and jelly on both sides (meaning regardless of the gender a bi person is dating they’re always going to be bi)

Ive had this rollin around in my head for a while since I had to explain to an ex what bisexuality really is. It currently is 2am tho so I’m not sure how clear this sounds 😂
