My cousins (who are really my favorite people in the whole wide world) just moved to town from Idaho, so they were able to spend a bunch of time with us this year. BONUS: My oldest cousin came in from college and it was amazing to see her.
My grandma made some bomb-ass food so snaps for her.
I walked away from Christmas with a wallet full of cash.
My youngest cousin knocked over this huge candle display at church and set the floor on fire on Christmas Eve. It was quite the commotion. :)))))))))))
Technically, my Christmas is not over. This week, I am going to my dad’s side of the family for a bonus Christmas!
I have so much respect for the people in this fandom who are still writing, make gifs, doing artwork, making fanvids etc. Shameless has become such a source of sadness and disappointment for me, I can't do it anymore. I don't know how this handful of amazing, creative people continue to dedicate so much love and time and talent to make the show still worth loving, if not in real life, then here on tumblr, on ao3, and YouTube. Thank you for giving me a way to remember the reasons that I fell in love with this once-amazing show, despite the insanity that it has now become. The world you guys create is my Shameless reality now. You are all rock stars.
