Friend: Do you have stage freight?
Me: lol I have anxiety I don't need stage freight
HG
This is Gretel, a porcupine singer struggling with stage freight. She's a character from a currently unnamed side project of mine.
A few weeks ago, I froze on stage in front of an audience of people. Let’s vlog about that. YouTube.com/Natorious94

Well that sucked...
I have horrible stage freight and my dads band got me up to sing. I'm usually slightly nervous because I also sing with someone and I really idealize her and look up to her and she gives me confidence when I sing. I was told I was not singing with her (my second time singing on stage) and I was like okay that sucks but at least she'll be there watching but she literally just up and left right before I went on... Made me pretty upset and fucking nervous as all hell and I couldn't hear myself sing and I missed my cue like 3 times in a row and I just fucked up and want to go die in a hole and bawl my eyes out..... Okay my rant is done.
A phobia of speaking to people and stage freight. Sometimes I hope that maybe, just maybe. There is someone listening to me sing. I'm more most raw when I do two things, work with my horse and sing. I am at a private barn, so I always hope someone hears me sing sometime.
