what is deancas stab fest, you ask?

it's new :) a fest for art and fic where dean stabs cas :)

Basically, the mods noticed that every time we did an AU, we had a bulletpoint in the outline SOMEWHERE that was just "Dean Stabs Cas." (It's a reference to the meet-cute in Lazarus Rising it is a subtle nod to canon it's not that the barn scene re-wired our brains or anything shut up.)

So we decided to create DeanCas StabFest (Fun-Sized) where artists and authors collaborate to create works in which Dean stabs Cas!

DeanCas StabFest is a bang and a reverse bang at the same time: some teams will have the artists presenting their WIPs to be claimed by authors; other teams will have authors' WIPs being claimed by artists.

"Fun-Sized" means the minimum requirements are low, and the timeline is short: 1,500 words and 1 piece of visual art, to be completed over a two and a half month period, with claims occurring at the halfway point.

Sign ups open September 18th, claims happen on November 5th, and posting runs from December 15th to December 22nd.
