Now that we’ve gotten that over with, what other important things happened today? Victor told me today was the death of Captain Cook!
A colonizer that sailed under the British flag and a man who tried to kidnap an indigenous leader of Hawaii.
I know what you’re thinking- why mention this on Valentines Day? Because this day is all about relationships, and this post is here to remind you- indigenous peoples are people who love and live too- and what happens in any relationship good or bad- should NEVER be forgotten.
