Summary: He will not understand until years later that they were just pawns on the chessboard.

2020.
Hanno is a believing man.
Not necessarily in religion, rather in a higher being who on a bad day decided to play around with the people and circumstances in Winden. Also, Hanno is a simple man, he does not question the injustice of life, after his mother died giving birth or when the beak made its way through his father's body. Finally, Hanno is a man loyal to his beliefs and to himself and those three qualities are what make him a survivor, in his time or in 2020.
His older self does not give him many details, he knows that Noah says barely enough to ensure that the cycle of events is fulfilled as it should. However, he is not stupid, he sees enough pain and helplessness in his gaze hardened by the passage of time and difficulties. He knows the path ahead will be complicated and he only has three names in his head when he enters the bunker, barely in time to escape death and radiation.
Claudia Tiedemann, Jonas Kahnwald… Elisabeth Doppler.

3.
—¿Me amas?
Why I am always like this? Idk but I’m 98% school, 2% person, so I’m so sorry Michelle hope you like this even if is decades later <3.
It’s been hours. That’s the only thing Napoleon knows for sure, that they started almost at eight and now I can see the beginning of a beautiful sunrise. He is pleased because very few people can really keep his pace but he is very surprised (almost terrified but he will not think about that) about Illya ‘stamina.
One thing is a good, very welcome foreplay that could last for hours and other entirely different is to be that hard after three perfect orgasms.
Napoleon almost feels insulted. It’s impossible but his sore and abused body tells him exactly the opposite and he does not want to accept the fact that maybe, just maybe his is a little bit exhausted while Illya keeps his perfect, hard erection against his perfect, hard abdomen. Napoleon wants to ask but his pride stopped him the first time the idea crossed his mind and the same thing has been happening again and again during the night.
Illya moans against his neck and is beautiful, so Napoleon tries to concentrate on that handsome man that kisses his cheek with passion and something very similar to innocense. It’s contradictory but Napoleon loves it anyway, so he gives up and turns to kiss the Russian deeply.
“Can I do it again?” Illya asks and Napoleon feels like he will faint in any moment. He thinks about the impossibility of that but Illya pushes his hard penis, rubbing himself against the curve of Napoleon ass. So, yes, it is possible and Illya will kill him one day.
“Yes,” he answers because is Illya and is funny but his body is getting ready, and he can feel the pleasure again in every part of his body when Illya kisses him, his tongue caressing his upper lip in such a lovely way that Napoleon laughs and pushes against the erection.
It’s amazing, as always and Napoleon marvels at the fact, smiling when Illya buries his head in Napoleon’s curls and inhales deeply while he pushes again and again and again and soon Gaby will knock their door to ask if everything is alright because they have been in their room for hours.
Something is different, though, and that is the only hope Napoleon has to think that maybe Illya will finally finish this time. It’s the noise. The subtle change in the pace, the way Illya grabs Napoleon’s legs and arms and body. Like he wants to melt them together. It’s desesperation and something they don’t want to admit but it’s already there, in the way they kiss and Napoleon cries his orgasm, while Illya grunts and comes again.
Napoleon almost prays but he feels Illya’s erection dying inside him and the only thing he feels apart the pleasure and pain and hapiness, is relief. He is ashamed of himself but he indeed feels relief.
“Are you ok?” Illya, sweet, perfect Illya asks.
“Yes, I am,” Napoleon says and before he can stop himself, he asks a little bit worried: “Are you really a russian experiment?”
Illya seems to think the words while Napoleon is busy hidding his face in the pillow, the blush blooming and staying in his pale skin. He feels Illya’s warm body against his and then a playful voice in his ear.
“Of course not but you know what people say”, and then, a soft kiss in his shoulder blade. “Nice guys finish last, right?”
And Napoleon feels like punching the bastard in the face because just a night before he was teasing him about being a “Nice guy” just for helping an old lady with her groceries. But he is tired so he just turns, kisses the russian in the lips and says in a sleepy voice:
“Sure thing, Peril, and nice guys also make breakfast, so there you go”.
Illya laughs but he gets up and Napoleon feels like he can sleep for weeks. Then, naturally, Gaby storms in yelling about why they hadn’t come out their rooms for hours.
Prompt: Barbara Gordon/Selina Kyle+"It's only business."
This had to be post before the next week soooo, is time I guess.
Barbara thinks is the thrill of danger. A free fall without net. Cold fingers against the warm and soft neck, caressing the little hairs of the nape. Perfum in her suit that lasts for days after their encounters and Selina’s tender, sweer voice in her ear, whispering innocent words while her fingers press gently her nipple.
“Are you alright, sweetheart?”, she says.
Barbara trembles but answers anyway, firm but a little bit loud: “Of course”. The last syllabe comes out wrong, she realizes. Its too vulnerable, a cry in the middle of the night.
Selina nods and her playful fingers continue their way down, For a moment, her hand (slender, cold, so different) rests where that fateful wound is and Barbara shrinks, trying to escape but Selina is quicker and holds her in place. She is solid against her back and Barbara is trapped. Like the first time. Like always.
Barbara hates to think about it. Maybe she is afraid, maybe she still see herself with Dick and Selina with Bruce. Or maybe, just maybe, she is scared that if she tells it out loud Selina will run away, never hers, always free.
“Don’t overthink, love”, Selina says, amused as she kisses Barbara’s neck, both moaning in pleasure. And Barbara would like to follow Selina’s advice but she also doesn’t know if that’s what she wants.
Instead, she turns, angrily slapping the hand away. The kiss that follows is full of anger and passion. Barbara longs for these moments, when their suits are gone and they are alone, their naked bodies warm with adrenaline and some sentiment that neither say out loud. Cold air, nails leaving angry marks. Barbara’s red hair like ink spilled over Selina’s abdomen while her mouth explore the wetness and she listens every sound Selina does.
It’s wonderful. Selina is beautiful, a wild being, powerful woman. Dangerous and Barbara is in love. Maybe, just maybe.
Or maybe its just business.
Sorry, Michelle, college is haaard but I hope you’ll like it. Also @everyone please send me prompts.

I’ve had this account for a little while now and I guess I should probably introduce myself. I’m S.T. Paige. Obviously this isn’t my real name but for now you can call me Shae. I’ve been writing since I could well, write. I don’t remember a time where I wasn’t constantly writing ideas down for what I thought would be killer stories. I know I have a long way to go but hopefully one day, I’ll be a household name. I want to be able to share my ideas and stories with the world in a way that will stay with people for years to come.
My current most active WIPs:
Spark:
A virus strikes earth that renders all of humanity defenceless. It strips the mind of all conscious thought and replaces it with two instincts: consume and destroy. No one is safe. Not even Alex. Tragedy strikes and she finds herself catapulted 300 years into the future aboard the ship Espenanza as a test patient. She must find a way to become a part of a new society or face life imprisonment. But where is there room for her to fit in? Not many want much to do with an ex zombie.
Bullet Wounds (A Supernatural FanFiction):
As a little boy, he watched his mother’s murder. The murderer is the leader of a dangerous crime circle called ‘Lucifer’s Children’. Cas is now the leading detective on the case. He knows he shouldn’t be on this case, but it’s not his fault they never took him seriously as a child. For years, he hasn’t made any progress. Until he gets an anonymous tip about a drug deal, possibly related to Lucifer’s Children. He charges in to investigate, only scarcely avoiding death thanks to a man in a mask. He clings to what little he remembers in a fruitless attempt to ensure that he might recognise the man if he ever came across him. One day, by sheer dumb luck, he finds the man and they discover they are connected in more ways than one. They decide to work together to take down Lucifer’s Children once and for all.
If only it were that simple…
Having to navigate his feelings as well as a new, dark and dangerous world? A disaster waiting to happen. (This blurb is still a work in progress, sorry for the yuck that lingers about it)
Anyhow, welcome to my cave! I’ll be sharing more of my stuff soon (:
ME2 Recruitment drabble, by Garrus for Garrus and Starring Garrus from Garrus’s POV
It’s all muscle memory now. It had been for hours, and his muscles are cramping and knotting. His trigger finger hurts. His shoulder hurts. There’s a shake developing in his arm that’s harder and harder to work around. If Garrus Vakarian hadn’t resigned himself to death approximately half a day earlier, he would have found it impossible to deny his fate now. His head is empty of thought, only the screams of every ache and pain in his body, telling him it will all be over soon. Spirits, just let these bones hold out a little longer, let these rounds take down a few more, let me tilt the scales just a little more towards justice before I go.
Almost mechanically, his attention is drawn by another wave of unpledged mercs making a break over the barrier. The waves are endless; it seems like he’s fighting the whole damn station. In a sense he has been, from the moment he set foot on Omega. His eye is back looking through crosshairs, and he shoots one recruit before it’s even taken two steps from the barricade. Young one, he reflects. Pity. He should have done more, sooner. Now he can only hope he’ll hold out long enough to take down one of the leaders, sparing any more innocent lives they’ll throw in harm’s way. Garrus lines up another shot and fires. He’ll never be sure if he had finally succumb to a muscle twitch, or if something in him had recognized that red and white stripe before he was even conscious of it, but instead of a clean headshot the blow merely glances off of the striped helmet.
Garrus blinks, and the familiar helmet is gone. No- cloaked- he can see the shimmer of movement as whomever he hit scrambles into cover. There are others in the group that he knows must be closing in, but he’s frozen. He has to know. The helmet appears again, and there’s matching armor below with the N7 logo there on the chest. Garrus’s mind gives a rusty lurch back towards consciousness: How many female N7’s do the humans have out in the field, currently? Are there any deserters? How hard would it be to get that armor on the black market, and why would some wannabe merc want it? Had it gone unnoticed by all the other mercenaries, or- more likely- had fatigue finally reached his retreated mind and given him a comforting hallucination to guide him peacefully home?
If it’s real, he decides, it’s help. Hope. If it’s his imagination, this won’t be the worst way to go. He fires a shot intentionally wide, then moves on to the mercs he knows aren’t in his head. His mind slips back into mechanics. Find the target, line up the shot, shoot. Reload. There’s a commotion downstairs. His attackers are dying, and he’s not the one killing them. Once the barricade is clear, he braces himself and begins a painful crawl to the interior window.
N7 is running up the stairs, flanked by two men he doesn’t recognize- but at least one looks far too clean and military to be stupid enough for this job. There are a few mercs coming into position on the floor who seem content to let them go- either oblivious to their treachery, or simply not seeing what isn’t there. The door beeps- someone’s trying to get in, and it’s too soon to be N7. When did he let a merc through? He’s slipping.
As he picks off another recruit, there’s a commotion at the other side of the door that ends as quickly as it started. There’s no way of telling who won, if anyone won, if there was even anything there to begin with-- no way, but to open the door.
If this is it, he’s had a good run. He might be able to handle one or two at close range, maybe even in enough time re-lock and barricade the room before more come up. He opens up his omnitool, fingers dancing hesitantly over the holographic display before committing to the code that will unlock the door. He returns to his scope, ready for the end.
It doesn’t come. He hears the hiss of the open door, the shuffle of footsteps into the room, and then-
“Archangel?”
His heart drops to his gut and his aching legs almost give out beneath him, but there’s a merc in his scope so he holds on. He holds up a finger, begging for a moment. He has his own angel now, but whether it’s come to save or condemn him he can wipe one more criminal from the face of the universe first. He shoots.
Bracing himself on his knee, then his rifle, he manages to win the fight against his own aching frame and raises himself to his full height. It’s not a far walk to the three figures standing before him, but every step is a shock to his nerves, though he tries not to show it. He focuses on his own actions, one foot in front of the other, raising his hands to his helmet and using his stiff fingers to undo the latches. Fresh air hits his face, and he wonders if he is dead after all, it feels so good.
“Garrus?” He hears the voice again, “Garrus!” and again, clearer- N7 must’ve taken off her helmet too. He’s afraid to look. He places his own helmet on a nearby desk and, unable to carry himself any further, takes a seat next to it. He makes himself look up.
It’s her.
She looks the same, as far as he can tell. Brown hair to her chin, tucked behind her prominent ears. Large eyes, sharp jaw, cutting cheekbones and all the other features humans are supposed to have. Maybe a few new scars. To her right is a man some shades darker than she, a military type with sharp, untrusting eyes. To her left is a man some shades paler, graying hair and mismatched eyes attached to a meaty face that looked like it’d been taken apart and reassembled a few times over. If hallucinations, he can’t imagine what corner of his subconscious he could’ve conjured them from.
His gaze is drawn back to her, so painfully familiar to him. She’d come back from the dead before his eyes before- bounding over Sovereign’s corpse on the citadel like it was nothing, lips curled in smug satisfaction. It had taken him months to stop expecting her to do the same this time around and it had been many more months since then. But here she is before him, not smirking but beaming with a rare, toothy smile. Could he be imagining that?
“Shepard,” he says, and the word almost breaks him. There is a release, all the strain and tension that had built up melts away and he almost pitches forward like a de-strung puppet, but he catches himself. If he weren’t so tired, he might cry. He might fall to her feet. He might embrace her. He might take her head in his hands and press his forehead so hard to hers that they join and never again will he be alone without her guidance and friendship, never again will he lose faith because never again will he not know-- if he weren’t so damn tired, he might. He shakes his head. “I thought you were dead.”
