The Office Cat, series by coolbreezemage
An extremely important and much-needed exploration of the canonical UNCLE cat. I adore this series, not least of all because I find it incredibly cozy anytime Napoleon and Illya are hanging out in the office quietly doing their paperwork together, making casual dinner plans, etc. Adding a cat to this domestic bliss ups the coziness factor 1,000%. Bonus points for pining-but-in-denial Napoleon, and Illya-feline comparisons.

There are so many things I adore about this one, including the most perfect OC Thrush villain I’ve ever come across, hilarious dialogue, mutual pining, brilliant plotting, and a kitten that you will come to love more than your own children. Currently an unfinished work (and a bit of a cliffhanger), but you should still dive right in and read it immediately because it’s simply that wonderful. FYI, you do have to have an A03 account to read it.

Illya is upset and Napoleon is trying to figure out why…Cats and love confessions are ultimately involved. This one is rated Mature but I can’t figure out a reason for that rating - it’s a very sweet and heartwarming little piece. I believe this one was originally published in a fanzine that included the image below by Suzan Lovett - hopefully that’s not too much of a spoiler.
