Well I guess Scott and Jean are getting back together. God damn it Jean. You’re just going to go back to dating him after ALMOST gaining an independent personality??? You spend two seconds having a nervous breakdown after meeting your daughter from another dimension and now we’re just going to pretend Scott didn’t marry another woman and father her child and then left her the second he heard you were available again and then proposed to you a week after she was killed mostly due to his bad decisions? I’ve never actually read the comics where she proposes to him, or where they get married. I hope . . . I hope I can get passed those ones. After reading this comic, I had to go take a 3 hour and 45 minute shower just to get to the point where I could sit down and write a blog post about it without vomiting all over my tablet. Anyway, Jean has to resort to the ol’ “we could all be dead tomorrow” routine to get Scott to finally sleep with her. For anyone keeping track of such things, this is the first official time that Scott Summers and Jean Grey engage in sexual intercourse (assuming they don’t just make out and dry hump, which seems more up Scott’s alley), considering that it wasn’t really Jean the other first time they did it (it was the Phoenix), and the two of them insist they weren’t fucking during the original series (but we know better, don’t we). Don't these two just want to make you puke all over the place or what. I guess we’re back together, aren’t we. Just going to forget about that whole wife and kid thing we had going on, huh Cyclops.
