I saw this three days ago and thought you meant the beach but went to check anyway and saw the last chapter. It took me all day to read and then I've just been processing it the last few days. I may have been grieving. It wasn't sad it was just an end and I don't think I was expecting it to hurt as much as it ended up doing.

@raccoonsinqueen did an amazing job with this story and inspired so many others to write. It's a bit sad that they are no longer in the fandom but it was so kind of them to finish the story. I mean they are the reason I started writing.

I like how they left it open. I hope one day someone can come along and extend the story. Maybe do those multiple endings that racconsinqueen mentioned in their notes. I personally just feel like there's a lot left open. Like how would Black and Red react to the Maid coming home? would Papyrus and Blue Cry? Is she still writing to Green? Is Indigo and Purple giving condolences to Black and helping him through this? how did they blind a monster? Will Maid go back to see their family? Does Grillby get with Muffet?!

I did enjoy Orange finding out where Maid was, he would be the best at keeping it a secret even if he could potentially use it against her although there could be a cute story of redemption where he comes to visit her often and the two grow close. I'm also a sucker for Orange though and this story defiantly kick started that like for the skeleton.

So I liked it but I was sad about the ending. Like I understand that SSOM had some issues and nothing about it was a healthy relationship but it was something that brought me into this fandom and I really liked all the skeleton's depictions, I wish I could write Sans and Papyrus as good as Queen.

I was looking up some old fanfics I used to read and can we just talk about how “Six Skeletons One Maid” is just dark as fuck?

Absolutely no disrespect to the writer, she’s talented as hell and I look up to her as a writer myself but just holy fucking shit, shit gets bad fast.
