Wow. I just did a search and Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin (Springfield, Missouri) doesn't show up AT ALL in any blog entry. That means, no a single mention in 3,207 posts. Amazing. I mean, I don't really listen to SSLYBY much, but there was a time (pre-blog) where I did. And when I did, it was almost exclusively "Broom".
Looking back I know I loved "Broom" because it fit nicely into my Elliott Smith, Beulah and Wilco musical tastes of the early 2000s. But the songwriting also reminds me of The Sugarplastic and The Teeth - both of which I was listening to quite a bit a the time.
This 20th anniversary edition (Polyvinyl Records) comes with 3 bonus tracks (the last three...although the songs on the back jacket and those on Bandcamp don't quite line up).
