It’s #womenshistorymonth and SSHSA wants to highlight another trailblazing woman of our organization. Doris Whitman Green (1908-2006) served as the New England editor for Steamboat Bill for more than 30 years. She first subscribed to the second issue in August 1940, and she became the first female member of the Society at its second meeting that same year.
