Jaxon, I think it’s most important that you know that I absolutely adore you. I think you are a spectacular Being with a brilliant Mind, and you are certainly one of a kind. I ache for the Pains of your Past, and I want nothing but Happiness in your Future.

That being said, why Jaxon? I wanted so badly to be able to Trust you – to be on your side. I wanted so much to defend your overworking of the only people who cared about you, to defend your Apathetic mindset towards impending Doom. I wanted that, Jaxon.

And then it was you.

You were the one who did the Thing. You know – the Thing that kind of made this entire Revolution worth having at all. On some respect, I love that you did the thing. In a very metaphysical way, you allowed for Paige to become the Heroine I know and love. But at the same time, it is also because of you that my love Arcturus has the Wounds he does, and that so many good people are now in the Aether.

Jaxon, I love you. I really, truly do. If you can somehow convince me that to love you is not to give up my own Moral Code, then I will be yours until the end of Time. Unfortunately, I know you too well, and you have no vested interest in my Heart.

I will not lose Hope for you, Jaxon. And if, by some strange twist of Fate, you are not the deploable Character I fear you to be in the end, I will be ever thankful.
