Scot Land, Day 18, Part 12
Everyone's assembled - let's party!
Scot loves how well Tank gets on with his parents.
I love how Homer and Beulah are the couple that visits just to makeout.
Scot: What do you think about both of us changing our names?
Tank: What, like double-barrelling? Grunt-Land... Land-Grunt... I dunno.
Scot: Or both changing to a different name... I wondered how you felt about us having your mum's maiden name...?
Tank: Do you even know what my mum's maiden name was?
Tank: You don't have to lie about it, it's fine.
Scot: No, I actually do! We both have really short first names; they don't work great with short surnames, but... it's lots of sylables. I actually do like it. And the General would be a massive jerk if he made a big fuss about it.
Tank: Probably won't stop him.
Scot: Well, no, but... No one would back him up over it. Do you like it?
Tank: Tank Vandermorgan... Scot Vandermorgan... it actually has a ring to it, you know. And... and I think my mum would've liked it. Okay. Let's do it!
And then Tank tracked Scot all around the house to corner him and makeout. He's definitely taking inspiration from Scot's parents!
Scot: Not long now until our wedding day, the future Mr Vandermorgan.
I didn't invite everyone who probably could've been here, deciding to leave out some potential drama vectors (namely Woody and Ripp), and also Buck just because Tank would probably spend most of the party worrying about him than focussing on his fiance. All of Scot's family were here, though.
