Vidcund: Fancy getting out of here for a few hours?

Mary: Yes... how?

Vidcund: I've booked a sitter-

Mary: Can we afford-?

Vidcund: Yes. He'll be here in five minutes.

Mary: I've missed this... I've missed you...

Vidcund: Me too. A stay-home-date's just not quite the same, is it?

Mary: Not with four kids under our feet, no!

Vidcund: You okay? You've seemed... down... lately.

Mary: I'm okay. Just tired of not having much money and having to scrimp and save for everything.

Mary: I'm not really moaning. I've got you, and four amazing kids... just... sometimes...

Vidcund: It's okay. You're allowed to be happy and still wish for more. I'll scout around for opportunities at work. And if the kids like this sitter, we should book a weekly date night where we can get out of the house, just the two of us.

Mary: I like the sound of that...

Kaelum: Ooh, can I have some fishy too, please?

Mary: Of course, honey - help yourself.

I do not know where Dora Ottomas came from! Not home with Mary, that's for sure!

Apollo loves stargazing!

Mary and Vid both woke up with woohoo in bed wants, and Mary had a baby want too.

They can't really afford another baby, but I know they'd both like one.

As she often does, Mary brought her dad home from work.

Kaelum's doing well in school!

Ringo: Hi! I'm Ringo! Are you the alien boys' daddy? Did you get 'ducted?

It's a lovely warm summer's evening; perfect for outdoor activities!

Finally, these boys made friends, over a game of cops and robbers.

Cosmo had a water balloon fight with Grandpa until he was too cold to continue.

Mary: Who's a good fluffy?

I swear I'm not forcing the kids to fish - they actually have the want. It doesn't hurt that it's good for the family finances.

Kaelum caught so many boots...

...but he did eventually get a fish!

Mary put a little garden in. Kaelum has a nature OTH, so hopefully he'll help keep on top of it. Any money they don't have to spend on groceries is money they can use to pay off the mortgage.

Eden: Mama! I'm home!

Bedtime!

Back home, the kids took advantage of the good weather and played outside. Well, apart from Cosmo - he wanted to study fire safety.

Eden: Shelly!

Shelly: Auntie Eden!

Eden: Don't call me Auntie! You're older than me!

Shelly: You'we still my auntie, though, you know.

Shelly: ...and soon Rocky's going to college soon and he pwobably won't stay over anymore...

Eden: That's sad.

Shelly: Yeah. It's not fair - why are they so big?

Shelly: Don't throw it at my head.

Promotion, and a nice big bonus to pay off some of the mortgage.

Mary: Hi, Delta... no, I can talk.

Cosmo: Kobe tummy so soft!

Vidcund: How was your day, my love?

Mary: Good, actually. The boys and I caught some fish (it's in the freezer), and they all enjoyed the pool. Only Kae swum, though.
