Beech, Hamilton & Erin, Day 18, Part 5
Erin: You don't have to talk to her when she comes barging over like that. You made your decision - that's what matters, not what she thinks about it.
Hamilton: She's my mother-
Erin: But she doesn't have to be your moral compass too.
Hamilton: It felt good today, doing something that would help... until Mama said I'd done the opposite. But maybe she's right-
Erin: And maybe she's not. There's other land that can be used for development and provide jobs and things. And politics isn't the only way to help people, Hal. I know you think you're too old, but law enforcement doesn't have to stay a pipe dream.
Erin: -doesn't control you. Maybe you guys would have a healthier relationship if you weren't also work colleagues. You could just focus on being mother and son.
Erin: You could talk to Homer, about policing.
Hamilton: Yeah... yeah, maybe I will.
Tomorrow's Lokken's birthday, and then we'll have two toddlers for a day until Romo turns child.
I guess we need to think about bedrooms. It would make no sense for the boys to share a room whilst two rooms sit open, but how do we combine Virginia and Rocky's rooms into one guest room without them feeling pushed out?
Or at least without Hamilton worrying they'll feel pushed out.
