I strongly support the End Slut Shaming Walk but all these posts about rape being taken lightly or the girl being called a 'slut' is bullshit. I feel like bashing the media for false representation of rape vs. sluts is getting out of hand. They are sympathetic, but it is a touchy issue to not be taken lighty so they don't say much about it. Girls are not sluts for getting raped and they are never asking for it, but most people do not say 'she was asking for it'. It is a very small number who does. Those people are assholes and you should stop interacting with them immediatley.
