Jareth Patreaon Reward - Sketch Evolution! In my quest to dispel those nasty rumors that we artists just sit down and draw things perfectly all the time, I have often posted my scribbles and half finished drawings and random bits of âugly workâ as I try to figure stuff out on paper. Iâm going even deeper into this on my Patreon account. Now, most of these evolution/process posts will become public after a little while, so if you are a broke ass artist or curios person who just wants to see but canât swing even the $1/month for access to my Patron only blog, thatâs ok. You can totally follow my account for my public posts and just refresh my feed every so often to see if some new goodies have become available. However, some things wonât be available publicly for a while (like sometimes itâs weeks, sometimes itâs months, occasionally itâs YEARS...) because Iâm under contract and have to be quiet about the project until it is officially released. This doesnât happen too often, especially now that I plan to switch my focus to strictly personal projects for a bit. I will TRY to post these much more in depth soul baring chunks of my shame here on tumblr as they become public, but my memory is crap so I forget. A lot. Enjoy this mess. đđľ By the way, the $2 pledge tier gets high res downloads of my line art to experiment with digitally or traditionally on a quarterly basis. These are usually coloring sheets from my Etsy store or commission pieces Iâve been working on. BUT, Iâve been throwing in random goodies lately. The âThe Last Unicornâ drawing I completed a couple weeks ago? Currently available as a download. And this Jareth will be as well. I never had any of this stuff growing up. The internet was new and I was just learning how to troll the creepers who harassed me on ICQ. Man. To have access to tutorials on youtube or to be able to holler at artists and get the chance to see how they do what they do...I might have decided on a different career. I joke. I jest. I kid. Of course Iâd still be doing this stuff. But maybe I would have been a little more prepared for what lay ahead. And maybe if Iâd known how other artists struggle, including the pros, ESPECIALLY the pros, I would have had a much healthier view of my own creative struggles. I hope, I really hope I can offer some of this to you.
