the Ao3 outage was so bad someone found my fic i crossposted to a knockoff website like 3 years ago
I'm the primary mod of SquidgeWorld Archive, and have somewhat been absent from Tumblr because of all the bullying that occurs here. For example, I got an email from someone that said, "You need to go look at this post on Tumblr," and it turns out the person who sent me that email wanted me to know that they had called me a "Piece of shit" on Tumblr.
Doesn't make for much of a pleasant experience, does it?
That said, I would appreciate if people have issues or questions about Squidge.org, SquidgeWorld, Squidge Images, or any other service that Squidge.org has been giving - for free - to the community for the last 30+ years, please come to me. Either here or in a support request.
Unless you want to call me an asshole - the community doesn't need that.

hello! i'm looking for people to help me run a community i've made for squidgeworld archive (sqwa) users.
sqwa is an independent fanfiction archive under the squidge.org umbrella built from the same open-source code that makes up ao3, and it's often used as a backup by writers to store their fics when ao3 goes down. it strictly forbids csem/csam and ai-generated material, and has a more inclusive fic tagging system (especially for the relationships tags)! as someone who uses sqwa just as much as ao3, i very much would love it if sqwa was given more attention and utility (❁´◡`❁)

We're volunteering as tag wranglers there, so you don't need to wait very long for the tags you use to be wrangled/canonized (unless there would be a huge amount of tags to deal with, what I don't think would happen).
Five very important pieces of information: -queerplatonic relationships are formatted as Character A ~ Character B, while antagonistic ones as Character C vs. Character D; -On SqWA we use brackets and not parentheses (example: on SqWA it's "Sherlock [BBC]", not "Sherlock (BBC)") – I mention this because many people seem to be uninformed about this difference; -Relationships are formatted by characters' given names* example: ship between Teruko and Eden goes as Eden Tobisa/Teruko Tawaki; -minor/background/one sided/etc relationship tags go to the relationship tag, NOT additional tag – these are made canon and wrangled as subtags to the main relationship tag (example: background David Chiem/Whit Young is a subtag for David Chiem/Whit Young and if you filter the main tag out, it also removes the works with the subtag); -minor/mentioned/etc character tags go to the character tag, they're wrangled under the main character tag.
Very nice, little detail: you don't need to put "[Danganronpa Despair Time]" in the tags you add!
