Squirrels and Puddles
The squirrels all came out after the storm.
Some pure animalistic expression of joy
As they scurried across the streets,
Flew from tree to tree, and
Performed balancing acts on fences.
I don’t know where they hide when it’s raining,
But they love a chance to play in the puddles afterwards.
One day
The storm will end.

Campaigners claim the group has failed to finish the project despite being handed it in 2010.
This is really affecting the squirrels down there. NO joke. The pixes down there have a very lucrative fruit processing business, fronted by a couple of witches, and they have trained squirrels to help with the fruit picking. trouble is, a side effect of the training is insomnia. The only thing that helps is streaming the sounds of a forest in the north down into the sleeping quarters, and the intermittent internet doesn't help. Don't ask me why they cannot record it: it apparently has to be live.
