08/22/20 Planted a couple of new lavender starter plants to make up for the ones the squirrel took. I’ve not given up on the lavender field of dreams yet. I chose the Phenomenal variety for these, seems like the type that is doing the best around here so far. My beautiful Hidcote lavender baby, stolen again by a squirrel! I planted this one in the same spot as the previous one that was stolen. Squirrel 2, me 0.
To the squirrel who dragged off my English Lavender in the night, which I have been so carefully cultivating: you are dead meat.
