This story is the first AU for FFVIII I ever started, and I swear I'm going to finish it sooner or later. It's a kind Beauty and the Beast + The Sleeping Beauty retelling in a FFVIII setting. Maybe a little too ambitious :D

I wrote this story at the beginning of the year, for a prompt that @tr1ck5 sent me so many months ago. For some reason, as soon as I read it, I got the idea for something intimate and kind of raw, and I hope I managed to give it the kind of atmosphere I wanted to achieve; more intimate than sexy (and that's the reason for the title I chose).

Today's spotlight is for a short fic I wrote for the FFVIII OTP Festival: Close!

The prompt was What you said in your sleep by Siobhane, and I also used the prompts I love you and backrubs from my hurt/comfort bingo card. I tried to describe Rinoa and Squall's relationship through the fact that he sometimes talk in his sleep.

I'm not sure I managed to, but I hope you can like it! I'd love to hear what you think about it.

This is a short story I wrote last year for the FFVIII OTP Festival, specifically for the prompt "They've rented their first apartment together and it's moving day" by Nixxi.

It was fun to write it, and it's a short&fluffy self-indulgent piece, so beware of the cuteness overload.
