Exactly how did she get her magical powers if she comes from a long ancestral line of squibs? How did she become a witch with no inherent magical ability?
She created and earned them. She made herself one.
Is that possible? Maybe not in the Harry Potter Universe but it is in general. In reality. You can become a witch by training yourself to be one because “magical” or “supernatural” ability is inherent in all of us. It’s part of our true nature but is severely misunderstood because the Universe’s existence itself is still so new and unknown to us.
So yeah. - I accept this headcanon. I think it makes Hermione an interesting and relatable character.
