Zel and Archie curled up on Baph's tail after an emotionally challenging day. I would place this between after they started getting along and before Baph took them to Fernweh. Long before either of them became daemons. That's Archie's original colors btw before he started darkening them.
Expressing a bit of two parts of me here. The part of me that wants to hold others and comfort them and the part of me that wants to be held and comforted.
Front facing, Zel looks so cursed. Not being able to see the snakeish curves of their body makes them look like a penguin to me.
I just need to accept that I am not going to be satisfied with Archie's wing pattern until draw them unfolded and do an in-depth design exploration. This works well enough for now.
Also he can't just take his wings off, I was just too lazy to draw them in cape mode.

I am finishing the roughs for all the current alumni members I had lying around. I wasn't thrilled with Lancaster's shapes before, but sometimes a lengthy break fixes those problems easily.
